1833. Clarissa Faulkner, daughter of Mrs. Applebee managed the business for her mother. Oxford University and City Herald. 8th March 1834. *

1834. Died. On Friday the 17th inst. Mrs Applebee, late of the Red Lion Inn, in her 76th year. She had been the highly respected landlady of the above house 37 years immediately preceding the term of the present landlord, Mr. Neale. Oxford Journal. 25th Jan. 1834. *
